Considering that side-loading trucks are commonly used for waste collection in towns, Ecogest has designed a new system that allows Municipal Districts to reduce the both the environmental impact of waste and the frequency of collections; the result is an extremely innovative large capacity skip that allows waste collection operators to collect waste simply and easily. Venus may also be unloaded on trucks with traditional bin unloading attachment.
How it works
“Venus” consists of an underground tank with top lid. The tank contains a skip positioned under the single central loading mouth of the tank.
The users presses a button on the loading mouth to open the loading tower and place the garbage in the skip.
The tower may be closed by pressing the closing button or in any case closes automatically after a preset time. A photocell reads the garbage level and stops the system when a preset level is reached; in this case the text “skip full” is displayed.
The large 4.2 cu.m. skip is made of treated steel plate. A hydraulic lifting system takes the skip to ground level.
